Proctor students were featured speakers for two Minnesota School Board events last Thursday. Malikia Brostrom, Olivia Morin-Swanson, Kailyn Morin, and Laykyn Lyon all shared their perspectives on what it is like to be a School Board Student Liaison. Following that, Malikia Brostrom shared a presentation and fielded audience questions regarding her work to bring to light, and have discussions about the micro aggressions students of color face. They were all terrific ambassadors of all that is good in the students of Proctor Public Schools!

She visited with grades 3-5, talking about her new book "Just Keep Walking" and her journey to becoming an author. Erin also shared some of her writing tips and tricks.
